Juan Merodio
Juan is a frequent speaker in prestigious conferences at an international of the best Business Schools and Universities in Spain and Latin America; such as Rey Juan Carlos University, Barcelona University and ESADE Business School. In addition, he is a mentor and advisor for entrepreneurs in various programs among which include: Startups Mansion in New York, 10 Entrepreneurs in Miami and San Francisco, and Housepreneurs in Berlín.
Merodio also gives in-house company training providing insight for companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Grupo Bassat Ogilvy, Pfizer, Cruz Roja, BBVA and GSK. He serves as a digital marketing advisor for businesses and public figures and can often be found collaborating with the media such as the program Emprende on TVE or on CNN.

Biography
Merodio was born a natural entrepreneur and completely self-taught. He has a Master in Business Management and Marketing from IDE-CESEM (Spanish Business School).
Not only is he the founder of “Grupo Ellas”, a company focused on the creation of webs focused on women in different areas (tourism, automobiles, education, beauty and fashion, etc), but co-founder of “Marketing Surfers”, a Marketing 2.0 agency. Partner and Marketing Manager of “InvierteMe”, the social network for entrepreneurs and investors.
His latest project is Engage Worldwide (EngageColombia) an international disruption firm assisting companies through their digital transformation. They currently have offices in Madrid, Valencia, Bogota and Miami. He has launched other companies like SocialVane (an online reputation monitoring tool) and Emprende Finance, a company that helps entrepreneurs locate investors.
For the above mentioned professional achievements on the Internet, he has received several prestigious awards in Spain: “Best Idea of the Year 2006″ from Actualidad Económica (a popular Spanish magazine), “Enterprising Social Young People” from the European University in Madrid, “Social Media 2013” (as top influencer in Spain) and “The Best Social Media Speaker” from #seothebeach.
Another one of Merodio’s passions is writing. He has published eight well-known books on Marketing 2.0 and is an assiduous writer for magazines, newspapers and websites specializing in Digital Marketing.
